Golden Circle Glacier Ride - Snowmobiling & Sightseeing Combo

Combination Day Tour: Driver Guided Super Jeep, visits to Þíngvellir National Park, Geysir Hot Springs & Gullfoss Waterfall, also includes a 1 Hour Snowmobile Tour on Langjökull Glacier.

Trip difficulty 2 out of 5 possible. Rated: Easy

This classic tour allows visitors to get in touch with some of Iceland’s most famous and beautiful nature. Our first stop is at the Þingvellir National Park 40 min due east of the city. Þingvellir is one of Iceland’s most historic sites as it was here that Iceland’s first parliament was founded in the year 930 AD. From Þingvellir we head along mountain tracks towards the world-renowned geothermal area around the Geysir hot spring. This is the one spouting hot spring that all such phenomena on Earth are named after. From there we continue on to Gullfoss (“the Golden waterfall”) where your proximity to its edge is so close you can feel the spray of the glacial water on your face. From Gullfoss we drive into the highlands on the Kjölur gravel track setting our sights on the Langjökull glacier. Arriving at our mobile base camp we gear up for a great snowmobile tour on Iceland’s second largest glacier.

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary according to weather and road conditions.

Our super jeeps seat 5 - 12 persons so our Safaris are always a small group experience!

Guaranteed departures for minimum 2 persons: Everyday all year round with pick up from your accommodation*.

* If you are staying at one of the many hotels and guesthouses in the city center then your pick up for your tour will be at 9:00 from our outdoor shop “Cintamani Center” at Laugavegur 11. The shop is located in the heart of the old city center. Click here to see a map of our location.
