We will arrive in one of our super trucks at your accommodation to come pick you up for your adventure. Our destination is the Langjökull glacier in the southern end of the Icelandic Highlands. Once we arrive at Langjökull glacier we will go through our safety procedures and how things work on the glacier. When we are ready we head off to an exhilarating two-hour snowmobiling tour across the endless white snowfields – which is a great way to combine the adrenaline-filled activity of your choice with the awe inspiring scenery of the second biggest glacier in Iceland. Racing through the ice fields is a truly an exciting adventure and a brilliant way to explore one of the huge glaciers that cover more than 11% of Iceland.

Price: See the box on the left side. These prices are for two persons per snowmobile, add 6.000 ISK per person to have a solo snowmobile. If you do not buy pick up you can see the driving directions here below.
Availability: Everyday from the 12th of September to the 14th of May (depending on weather and snow conditions).
Pick up time: 8:30-9:00 AM.
Duration: approximately 7-9 hours.
Minimum number of participants: 2 persons.
Age limit: 10 years old. For driving the snowmobile you need to present a valid, international car driver’s license.
Distance from Reykjavik: 115 km.
Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing. Good hiking shoes are recommended. We will lend you snow gear for the snowmobile tour.
Includes: Pick up from Reykjavík, private guide in your jeep, snow gear and two hours snowmobile ride on the Langjökull glacier with two persons sharing a snowmobile. Lunch and refreshments are not included.
Required: A valid driving licence to drive the snowmobile. No prior knowledge of the sport is required!
Please Note:
We reserve the right to alter the itinerary according to weather and road conditions. If the whole trip gets cancelled due to weather there is a full refund. This is mainly a concern during high winter and autumn when there is a lot of storms and heavy snow.
* When you stay at some of the guesthouses or hotels in the city our pickup location is at our shop on Laugavegur 11, the Cintamani Center, at 12:00. The shop is on the main shopping street and is very easy to find. Click here to see a map of our location.
